I am concerned about how Notaries are viewed by signing services. There is a great lack of respect for what it takes to be a professional on call notary signing agent. Most signing services are willing to sacrifice the lender and title companies hard work for notaries who do not have the skills level or knowledge. Signing agents are expect to be 24/7 and work for next to nothing.

Oh Soooo true!! They drive me absolutely NUTS! Signing services have turned our profession into almost a minimum wage job & lowered the standards to get notaries who will work for garbage. That is one reason that I started AV Notary Network in 2003 to try to counteract them, but unfortunately I think it might be too late. The services are BIG BUSINESS now! I'm not sure how to take back our profession. Sad!!
